At a glance
Twenty years, starting in news
I started out as a news photographer, which is where everything I do now came from. Tight deadlines, no second chances, and learning to read a room quickly. I was born and raised in Spain and I have been working in London for over twenty years.
What I shoot
Corporate events, from award ceremonies and galas to corporate dinners, drinks receptions, away days, trade shows and parties. Candid mostly, posed when you need it. Speeches, performances, awards, auctions, the room, the food, and the moments in between.
What you get, and when
High resolution JPEGs in a password-protected online gallery, shareable and downloadable so your partners and guests can take what they need. Expect 60 to 70 final edits for every hour I shoot. Standard turnaround is 72 hours on working days, next day if you need it, and I can hand you a few edits during the event itself for social.
Finding the right person in a full room
Twenty years of news work taught me to spot the person you actually need photographed in a room of three hundred. If there is a chief executive, a guest of honour or a sponsor who has to be in the gallery, tell me and they will be.
Where I work
London, with no travel charge for events finishing by 10pm. Outside London I add train and taxi fares. I have worked at Grosvenor House, Westminster Park Plaza, The Ivy Collection, the RAC, the Intercontinental, The Brewery, Excel and the Houses of Parliament.
Headshots
On location, at your office. I bring a portable studio with battery-powered lights, so I need a six-seater meeting room of around three metres square and no plug sockets. White, grey or black backgrounds, or environmental to match headshots you already have. My camera runs to a screen so people see and approve their own shot before we move on.
The practical bits
Fully insured with public liability up to £10 million. VAT exempt, so the price you see is the price. A 25% deposit secures the date and the balance is due on completion.
