School of Bharathakala teaches Bharatanatyam, one of India's oldest classical dance forms, in the Kalakshetra style. Founded in 2004 by Smt Sujatha Sathees, who holds the title Bharathakalashri and has taught across the UK for many years, the school trains students to high standards with individual attention. Students learn the sacred art's statues, poses, hand and eye movements, and complex foot rhythms. Many have achieved their diploma and Arangetram, performing at venues across the UK. The school also stages dance dramas including Ramayanam, Krishnaleelai, and Thasavatharam.
