Con Tumbao is a salsa dance and musicality school based in Islington, offering classes rooted in Cuban Son and New York style salsa on2 timing. They run six-week beginner and open level technique courses every Tuesday at seven pm, alongside monthly musicality jams exploring instruments, rhythms, and song structure. Classes connect music theory with dance, helping students feel the groove and develop partner connection. Each Tuesday concludes with free social dancing and jamming for students, where dancers practise freely and play salsa percussion instruments together. The school also organises outings to live music events, building community through shared celebration of salsa culture.
