Dee's Basement is a confectionery studio founded in 2017 in East London, creating imaginative cakes and postal desserts delivered across the UK. Dee Omole specialises in nostalgic flavours and hand painted chocolate covered madeleines, her signature product. The studio also offers food styling services. Originally focused on event catering, the business pivoted to mail order during lockdown and has since expanded its range to include small batch bento cakes. In August 2025, Dee released her debut cookbook A Little Of What You Fancy, featuring recipes for her madeleines and other creations designed to be easy to make and scale.
