Hackney City Farm is a community resource established in 1984 on a historic site in Hackney. Originally a brewery in the late 1800s and later a road haulage company depot, the farm has been transformed from a derelict lorry park into a thriving space housing a wide range of farm animals and a cottage garden. The organisation manages licensed office workspace, supplies fresh produce and growing mediums, and sells souvenirs and toys. Located at 1a Goldsmiths Row, the farm opens Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 16:30, and operates as a mix of community and social enterprise activities serving the local neighbourhood.
