Pasta e Basta is a family-run catering business specialising in fresh Italian pasta, founded in 2012 by Fabrizio and Raminta in Hackney, east London. Fabrizio trained as a chef in London's West End restaurants and grew up in Puglia, where handmade pasta is a tradition. The team crafts seasonal menus featuring dishes like paccheri with pork sausage and fennel ragu, hand-rolled beetroot gnocchi, and spinach conghiglie with mushroom and truffle sauce. They source British ingredients where possible, including beef and pork from Woodwards Farm in Cambridgeshire, organic vegetables, and organic semolina from Shipton Mill in Gloucestershire. Their range also includes various pasta shapes, gnocchi, lasagna, filled pastas, and homemade sauces.
