Road From Damascus is a jewellery maker based in Hackney who designs and handcrafts bespoke pieces using traditional methods. Founder Steve Ali trained as an architect in Damascus before displacement led him to jewellery-making in a refugee camp, where he learned silversmithing techniques that shape his practice today. Each piece carries meaning rooted in heritage, memory, and craftsmanship passed down through family artisans. Working from a workshop in Dalston, he creates sustainable, handmade jewellery infused with the soul of traditional techniques and a life lived across worlds.
