Stompin' the Blues teaches blues dancing every Tuesday in Aldgate, led by Ryan O'Shaughnessy, Anna Price, Alain Andrieux and Zoë Enstone. Classes run from 7pm to 9.10pm with two levels: beginners at 7pm and intermediate at 8.10pm, each lasting one hour. Blues dance evolved from African rhythms and juke joint culture, emphasizing emotional expression and call and response with a partner. Drop in anytime, no booking needed. Level 1 costs £15 (£10 for full time students), level 2 the same, with a £8 discount for taking both classes the same evening. Payment by cash, online or class card.
