SwingdanceUK teaches swing dancing across London and beyond, specialising in Lindy Hop, Charleston, Blues, Balboa, Shag and Jazz. Founded in 1986 by Simon Selmon, a UK and US dance champion and World Lindy Hop Judge, the company has spent over 40 years sharing vintage dances from the 1900s to 1960s. Classes and workshops welcome total beginners through to seasoned dancers in a warm, welcoming space. The team creates lively social dances and performance events designed to celebrate the joy and community of swing dancing, taking participants on a journey through the history and social context of this vibrant dance tradition.
