Tango E14 teaches Argentine Tango, led by Tony Lane, who has been dancing and teaching for twenty years across the UK, China, New Zealand and beyond. Assisted by trained dance teacher Anita van de Watering, the group meets weekly on Saturday afternoons from 1 to 5 pm for classes and milongas at community centres in E14. The approach emphasises connection, communication through embrace and movement, and improvisation rather than fixed choreography. Dancers of all levels learn to lead and follow, working together to the music while respecting shared space. The group encourages students to explore different teachers and styles as part of their Tango journey.
