Wild Goose Bakery is run by Kirstin and Vernon, both professional chefs who trained in respected London kitchens including La Gavroche and Ottolenghi. Vernon studied chocolate with Valrhona in France and worked alongside Mark Hix; Kirstin led hospitality at Global Radio. What began in 2014 as Kirstin's home baking project grew into a shared venture rooted in South African inspiration. The bakery draws on over a decade of kitchen discipline and craft, combined with a focus on real community and connection. Based in Forest Gate Arches, Newham, Wild Goose brings professional pastry and cake-making to local events and celebrations.
