Anjuman-e-Islamia Newham Mosque offers a community hall available for hire through a formal application process. The mosque conducts Nikkah ceremonies, typically scheduled after Jum'uah prayers, subject to Imam availability. Nikkah requirements include mutual consent, both parties being Muslim, valid identity and address documentation, both parties aged 18+, presence of the bride's Wali or Wakeel, two adult male Muslim witnesses, and Mahr. Applicants must attend a pre-ceremony management meeting two weeks prior with original documents. The mosque does not conduct secret marriages and encourages open family involvement. Divorced applicants require additional Islamic and legal documentation. Sharing something sweet, preferably dates, follows the ceremony in Sunnah tradition.
