The studio

I hire a working artist's studio, available to you. I run it as a photographer, not as a rental company.

The two floors

You get both in one booking. Downstairs is the lit white studio, 4.5 m by 12 m, ceiling 2.7 m rising to 4 m, with natural light from the west and the north. Upstairs is 4.5 m by 8 m, exposed beams and wooden floors, a domestic interior that needs no dressing.

How a shoot sits here

Engagement and pre wedding shoots, and content days, use the upstairs room when they want something that does not look like a studio, and the downstairs floor when they want a cleaner look. An assistant is not in the hire.

What is in the building

32A red three phase power, ground floor access through double doors, a kitchen, a shower, fast WiFi and two parking spaces. Lighting kit comes with the hire: Bowens flash, an LED panel, softboxes, a beauty dish, polyboards, a three roll paper support, stands, a high velocity fan and a clothing rail.

The sound

The room is well insulated and fine for controlled dialogue and interviews. It is not fully soundproof.
