Crown Works Pottery and School offers full-day private hire of its throwing studio for parties, team-building events and workshops. Groups of up to 8 participants each have their own potter's wheel to learn throwing techniques, from cylinder basics to bowl-making. The session runs 11:00 to 17:00 and is suitable for absolute beginners or intermediate potters. Each person keeps 1 to 3 fired and glazed pieces; additional pots cost £10 each. All materials are included. The fixed hire rate is £1,360 regardless of group size, making it approximately £170 per head at full capacity.
