About The Ragged School Museum
We are a Victorian museum on the Regent's Canal by Mile End Park, housed in former warehouses refurbished with National Lottery Heritage Fund support. Our space tells the story of London's largest Ragged School, opened by Dr Barnardo in 1877.
We offer two rooms for hire: our Event Area accommodates up to 100 seated or 190 standing from £650 per hour, and our Meeting Room seats up to 12 from £40 per hour. All floors are accessible by lift, and our atmospheric café opens onto the canal towpath.
